This course offers school-age students and aspiring dentists a hands-on experience of what it’s like to work in dentistry. You’ll learn key skills through interactive workshops and practical exercises while gaining insights from top UK dental professionals and university lecturers.
From basic dental techniques to patient care, you’ll develop essential skills and get the chance to ask questions, hear real-life experiences, and understand the journey to becoming a dentist.
If you’re already set on dentistry, you’ll also have the opportunity to practice interview skills in a realistic setting, with feedback from current university students and lecturers to help you prepare.

The course includes eight practical sessions, two interview workshops, and so much more.
Practical sessions cover key skills like amalgam and composite fillings, root fillings, tooth anatomy, scaling and hygiene procedures, charting, suturing, and taking impressions.
